American Precision Engineering is looking for a Laser Operator who treats every cut, every program, and every setup like it matters — because it does. Our work supports defense and aerospace customers under AS9100 and ITAR; the quality standard is not negotiable.

What You'll Do

• Program and operate CNC laser equipment with precision and consistency
• Nest DXF files onto raw material
• Manage laser operations with discipline — the right revision, in the right place, every time
• Inspect your own work and document it to spec
• Your programs go straight to production, so you'll see what works and what doesn't, fast

Who We're Looking For

• Experience operating a CNC Laser is required
• Someone who finds satisfaction in dialing things in, not just getting them done
• Comfort with learning new software
• A methodical approach — you follow the process because you understand why it exists
• Ability to work independently and manage your own queue of jobs
• An eye for detail that catches problems before they advance through the shop floor
